Today I am going to share with you a very simple tip that won’t take too long to explain about Motivation and getting UNSTUCK. If you’ve been finding it hard to train or pick up your steel mace fear no more my lovely friend! I got something to share with you today.
Let’s face it with COVID and all the continuous stress of 2020 we’ve all been feeling a bit OFF. I get it, I too have been feeling ungrounded and been feeling like fighting” myself to get back on track to where I was. You aren’t alone!
By the way this technique I am about to share with you is so simple that it can be used NOT ONLY for your steel mace training but in almost every area of your life. That is what makes this so awesome.

The Truth about MOTIVATION
Let’s begin with Motivation! I am going to tell you the truth about it. Motivation is great WHEN IT WORKS. But when it begins to fade and disappear that is when the feelings of being stuck begin. The reason why this happens is because Motivation is very short lived. It really doesn’t last as long as we would like it to and at some point you will not have it to keep pushing you forward. In my opinion, don’t try to use motivation alone. It works but it shouldn’t be the only thing to lean on when it comes to your steel mace training OR other areas of your life. Motivation is EVERYTHING.
WAIT, SO NOW WHAT DO I DO?
First off, don’t worry! Feeling unmotivated and losing your motivation mojo isn’t the end for you. You still got so many ways to keep kicking ass and I will share with you a very simple tip/technique that you can start using TODAY. The main thing is to DO IT. Don’t just read this article or watch my video and then do nothing IF YOU REALLY WANT TO GET BACK TO WHERE YOU WE’RE or GET TO WHERE YOU WANT TO GO.

How to GET UNSTUCK! Let’s do this!
Step 1) Turn off all distractions! Get off Netflix! Get off your couch! Get off your bed!
Step 2) Make your choice! Make the decision on a new starting point. Choose from 5, 10 or 15 minute blocks of training time. For example, let’s say you are feeling really really unmotivated then starting with 5 minutes of training every day or every other day would be you “new starting point”. Just pick up your steel mace and train for 5 minutes.
Step 3) Once you finally start to feel more energized and like you can handle a little more than you can move on to 10 or 15 minutes of training. Just check in and listen to yourself. If you think you still need to spend more time at 5 minutes then continue but my advice is to not stay there! Always shoot for a little more when you feel like you can.
And that is it! AS SIMPLE AS THAT! At some point this will help you get up to even 45 minutes! But the point is to gradually work your way up and build the habit.
Now what I will tell you is this….your brain will try and tell you that this is BULLSHIT. That this is so simple that it won’t work or will be a waste of your time. I am here to tell you that you need to shut off that part of your brain and DO IT ANYWAYS. It’s so simple you are going to have a really hard time sticking to it. Isn’t that funny? But this is exactly what you need!
